the man behind

my mission.

Having seen first hand how limited, underfunded and the untimely support the NHS offer to those battling mental health struggles, I've made it my mission to make mental wellbeing support accessible and affordable for everyone. During my time working for Barnardos and the NHS delivering short term interventions, I couldn't believe the 3-month+ wait lists to only receive a time restricted intervention, with no other support offered in the meantime, and a simple 'signpost' thereafter.

If you are struggling with poor mental health and you reach out for help, you should receive it instantaneously.

Jordan Jaggers

I've had ample amounts of experience supporting others mental health, from being at a care home for disadvantaged teenagers and an SEMH school, through to delivering 6-8 week informal CBT & DBT interventions within the NHS to young people.

All of this experience lead me to build Mindlift+ during the covid lockdown, and to what you see today. Transitioning out of the NHS world shortly after lockdown was lifted, I pursued a Personal Training career as I knew the impact exercise & lifestyle factors play in mental health outcomes, and this is what made me stand out from the rest; diverting attention away from body image goals, and more into intrinsic reasons that really matter.

Mindlift+ has been built on pure passion for change, and I can confidently say that over the years, I've been able to positively improve the lives of 100's of young people and adults; as we know, mental health doesn't care about age, race or gender.

My ability to connect, empathise, educate and coach is what I love doing and sets me apart, as I've come to realise it doesn't matter what you know, unless you can deliver it to someone that feels comfortable with you, is able to comprehend what you say and finds relevance in the 'solution' to apply to their own life.

You are heard, you are seen, and your feelings are valid.

what mental health struggles have I got experience with?

my own battles with mental health

I truly believe in full transparency, as it makes us human.
My biggest personal challenge with mental health is social anxiety. Stemming back to my school years, I was always an anxious teenager, quiet, introverted and avoidant of bigger groups. This became increasingly worse over many years where unless I had a purpose to be somewhere (for example, my job role), I would avoid most situations with groups, out of fear, judgment and feeling anxiety ridden.

How would I avoid?
Constant excuses, faking being ill, lie about my reasons, ignore the invite; you name it, I've probably done it.

Fast forward to now.. where do I stand with my social anxiety?
I can proudly say it's improved! From the knowledge i've gained, understanding that avoiding was simply keeping me in a vicious cycle and re-wiring my belief system through my own therapy journey, my anxiety in social situations is much less and I'm now finding more ways to put myself in these uncomfortable experiences.
